China Round 2

Tuesday, May 30, 2006

This morning was actually really bad. I woke up again with the bad atmosphere. It was 4:00am and the sun was rising. There is already a layer of smog in the air, and you can't even see the sun but you can tell that it is orange almost red. The air reaks of something burning and the smell of garbage. There is slight breeze but not consistantly. It really looks like it wants to rain.

We were home all day waiting for the mail, which did arrive today. In the afternoon, the air was hot and muggy. The smog did not help.

At night, even as early has 5:00pm the sun was still at 30 degrees to the horizon, and it was a deep orange red. What we really need a good rain fall.

We took a walk out out and about Carrefour in the evening.

The Experimental Chinese Food Of The Day is:
Betty Crockers Bugles "Seaweed Flavour"

Ok this is a weird combination in the first place: corn chips and seaweed. On first taste, I almost couldn't taste the seaweed. It is very subtle. When examining the chips more closer, there are little speckles of green stuff on it. From the looks of it what they did is sprinkled the crushed seaweed on to the chips along with the salt and etc...

It basically is the same Bugles recipe with new flavor shakers at the end of the assembly line. The result is a pretty lame tasting chip.
