This place is one of the finest examples of garden architecture in China.
Beside the lucky guardian.

The offical name of the park is Yiheyuan (Garden of Good Health And Harmony) by Empress Dowager Cixi, in 1988.
The moon shaped lake Kunming Lake later known as Big Lake or West Sea or West Lake. Later this whole area was renamed Qingyiyuan (Park Of Pure Ripples).
The pillar into the Palace of Renshoudian (Benevolent Longevity). The light would shine through this into the palace mirrors.

Unfortunately the empress's birthday palace was under repairs so only a painted sign was here.
