The year is 2000 beginning of the millenium. No, Y2K problems with me. Then again, my computers were too out of date and too insignificant if the dates were wrong anyway.

Conventions

San Deigo Comic Convention 2000 was held in San Deigo (duh!) this year. They are still using the convention centre even though it has just started to be renovated to make it larger.

It is one crazy convention, here is my convention experience story.

San Deigo Convention 2000

An anime con finally in Vancouver, Aka Kon 2000 made its first appearance. It had a multitude of problems which could have been better handled by the co-ordinators and even longer list of problems after the con.

The con was held November 26 & 27 at the Sheraton Wall Centre.
