Langrisa PCE Menus This game follows much like the English Genesis version "War Song". However, use this for the following menus. Button I - select (enter) Button II - cancel (escape) The first menu you get is the type of game you are playing. I) a) New Game b) Load a game from Memory c) Memory Mode if you select (b) you will be given a menu of games saved in you Duo/memory card. Once the game starts, it will explain the objectives of your current level. See supplement file for objectives of the level and losing conditions. Next a map appears with the entry points of the enemy units. Next a selection menu of the squad leaders who will join you on this mission. Use pad and to select your party members. The number of blank brown spots is how many people you can bring. Screen 5 -------- This phase basically allows you to configure your men and buy troops for your leaders. a) Buy units for Leader b) Equip standard weapons c) Shop d) End phase a) You basically select the leader, then select the units to buy and then select how many. Selection is all done using the . You return to the the main menu by using . b) To select weapons for normal usage, first select the man then select the item. Go to the next option (c) to buy or sell your items. c) Shop. You will get a short menu i) Buy ii) Sell With this, it will give you more items to equip or more money to buy other stuff. d) End goes to Next menu (6) (6) Deploy units on the map. Just pick unit then pick where to place the unit on one of the empty "x"'s -------------------------------------------------------- Ok, during the normal operation of the game, you can press to bring up the functions menu. a) End Player Turn b) See large map c) List objectives d) Game parameters e) Load Memory game f) save memory game The only main one that needs to be explained is (d) d) Parameters i) Speed on/off ii) BGM Music on/off iii) combat animation on/off iv) mark grid points on/off --------------------------------------------------------------- When you click on a troop/leader unit, an option menu will appear giving you choices for what the unit can do. the menu will usually appear as follows. i) move only ii) move then attack iii) cast a spell iv) end movement of unit v) change the mode of unit Option (v) will yield another menu a) seek out enemy units b) focus attack on enemy leader c) surround your own commander d) move manually a) will cause your units to hunt down and destroy all types of enemy units. It is so aggressive that your troops may attack outside of your control sphere. b) Like (a) but makes the objective the enemy leader and will eliminate obstacles along the way. c) Defensive mode. Protect your leader. d) Move unit around manually. Good for leaving units behind the front lines. There are quite a few spells and what not, but I will let you guys figure that one out.
