William Chow's Personal Web Page

The year is a sub page dedicated to my friend, Allison Girvan.

Below I have some of the photos of great times that were had. Feel free to click on the thumbnail to enlarge it.

I have known Alllison ever since the early early years of Quinson Elementary. An intelligent and talented woman from a young age. The thing that probably stuck out from my mind during elementary school, was that she had a black dad and a white mom. I suppose being brought up as a yellow man in a redneck town, being a visible minority was pretty hard.

I have always known her to be talented in musical instruments and vocals. I have always enjoyed her performances during school events, band, and special days.

I did run into her in the 90's when I was working at Radio Shack. She told me she was on the island. Unfortunately, I have lost contact again.

However, with the advent of the internet, I was able to find quite a bit of information. I guess this is a case of one's reputation preceeding oneself.

The vssm.org web page has a mini profile for Allison.
The Cypress Choral web page also has a mini bio too.

She is the featured on this John McDermott DVD.

She is also featured on this John McDermott CD.

She also appears on the Tobin Stoke's CD.

An old defunct web page for the Nelson Song festival was the only one page that had her picture. I had to dig through some old archives to find this!
